Marita Roos    Principal Planner | Landscape Architect

Picture
Marita Roos RLA, AICP, LEEDBD+C is a landscape architect and planner who writes, designs, plans, builds and teaches with the aim of enlarging our participation in the urban/natural environment. Marita's particular focus is on renewing living places from discarded and marginal urban lands, such as industrial waterfronts, historic sites in need of renovation and in-between spaces in the built landscape. Community engagement is essential to this work, as is recognition of the many ecosystem and economic benefits provided by landscape renewal. Beauty, inspiration and delight are important outcomes, fundamental to restoring our human linkage to our environment.
